Migrating Obsidian to org-mode
I recently had a couple of weeks of vacation and decided it was a good time to look into how to migrating my approximately 1,000 Obsidian notes to Emacs Org-mode. I had considered doing this for a long time, but I had always hesitated because I was afraid the conversion would be messy and time-consuming and would prevent me from reproducing my established workflow. I was wrong. At least partly wrong. The migration took some time (a couple of days of fiddling with Python and Pandoc export scripts), but I was eventually able to recreate my entire Obsidian workflow.
